Mountains Whisper Strength, Hydrangeas Speak In Colors

“Mountains whisper strength, hydrangeas speak in colors.”

I didn’t plan to stop there.

It was just another turn in the road, another viewpoint that looked “nice enough.” But something about the hydrangeas pulled me in—the way they bloomed so softly against the towering mountains behind them. Strength and gentleness, standing side by side.

I stood there longer than I expected.

The mountains didn’t move. They didn’t need to prove anything. And yet, they commanded respect. The flowers, on the other hand, were fragile, temporary—but somehow impossible to ignore.

That’s when it hit me.

You don’t have to choose between being strong or being soft. You can be both. You can stand tall like the mountains, unshaken by the noise of the world—and still bloom quietly, beautifully, in your own way.

I left that place with no photos that could truly capture it.

But I carried the lesson with me.

“The Lake Doesn’t Rush, Yet Everything Gets Done.”

The Lake Doesn’t Rush, Yet Everything Gets Done, Living the view, not just admiring it, Built for moments like this, Calm outside, unstoppable inside.

The evening didn’t ask for attention—it simply existed, quietly beautiful.

I found myself standing by the lake, where the water stretched endlessly, mirroring a sky that seemed softer than usual. There was no noise, no rush, no notifications demanding my time. Just the gentle rhythm of waves brushing against the shore, like nature reminding me to slow down.

For a moment, everything felt still. Not the kind of stillness that feels empty, but the kind that feels full—full of thoughts, memories, and clarity. It’s strange how a place so simple can make you confront so much within yourself. Standing there, I wasn’t trying to figure life out. I was just… letting it be.

The lake didn’t care about deadlines or expectations. It didn’t measure success or failure. It just flowed, effortlessly, teaching a lesson without saying a word: you don’t always have to push. Sometimes, you just have to trust the direction you’re already moving in.

I watched the light slowly fade, the sky changing colors like it was telling its own story. And in that moment, I realized something—peace isn’t something you find somewhere far away. It’s something you allow yourself to feel when you finally stop running.

Maybe that’s why places like this feel so powerful. They don’t change your life overnight. They just remind you of who you were before everything got so loud.

And as I turned to leave, I didn’t feel different. I felt lighter.

Like I had left a little bit of noise behind—and taken a little bit of calm with me.

Some Random summer memories.

"And so with the sunshine and the great bursts of leaves growing on the trees, just as things grow in fast movies, I had that familiar conviction that life was beginning over again with the summer."- F.Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby

The moon is friend for the lonesome to talk to"

I am a person who loves to spend time at my home in my beautiful village. I still remember those times when my grandma used to tell me the stories about the kings and the gods. The golden history that is somewhat forgotten by the current generation. Those stories were so amazing and fascinating at the same time, made me imagine them happening in my mind as reality. I usually slept under the open sky on the roof of our house. We lived in a joint family and my grandam was the best among them all. During that time the pollution was at the lowest and the night sky always looked so beautiful. The moon, the shining stars, her beautiful voice, and those stories could make any kid lost in them. However, those stories had a deep meaning, understanding and learning for kids such as; be kind, help others, be a man with values, always respect your elders, love your parents and family members.
But in this current time, because of technological advancements, social media, that charm has been lost somewhere. I don't see kids spending that quality time with their grandparents, rather they spend their time on social media, with friends and going to clubs, etc. These kids can never understand the important life lessons they had missed. After finishing my 12th studies in my village, I had moved to the city and started adjusting myself as per the boys who live in cities. It was difficult initially because I never lived in a city. My life in my village was pretty simple but full of happiness. Fresh air, freshly cooked food, beautiful people, playing with my childhood friends, the scent of rain, making boats of paper and so many things I can't explain.

Cities are crowded, polluted, but have better medical facilities, educational institutes, infrastructure as compared to the village. And in the year 2006, I had lost my grandparents. Whenever I go back to my village, I prefer to sleep under the open sky and look at moons and the beautiful sky full of stars and remember my old times. I had captured this picture using my phone and dedicating these pictures to my beloved Dadi Ma.
